Blizzard Entertainment's mobile game, Warcraft Arclight Rumble, is already being regarded as an Clash of Clans knockoff in certain circles. A hint of WOTLK Gold a Warcraft-branded mobile game have been circulating earlier this year, courtesy of a report by Journalist Jason Schreier that claimed such game will launch in 2022. Blizzard has since confirmed plans to announce concrete details about the mobile project in May.

It's not to say that this will make it Blizzard Entertainment's first foray into the mobile realm. The year 2014 was the time for example the publisher and the developer have made a splash when they put out a free-to play collectible card game Hearthstone which further opened up the world of Warcraft across PC, Mac, Android as well as iOS platforms. Viewers have taken notice of one thinghowever - this upcoming Warcraft experience seems to bear several similarities to Clash Royale and Clash of Clans. YouTube comments under the gameplay trailer draw comparisons with the Supercell-developed titles, for instance. Also, Reddit user Saerjin created a discussion thread asking if anyone else noticed an Clash of Clans influence. Several responses likened Warcraft Arclight Rumble to Clash Royale specifically.

A glance at the video and it's easy to understand why people have referred to Arclight Rumble as Clash Royale with Warcraft characters added to the mix. Now the question is : how exactly Blizzard Entertainment plans to buy WOTLK Gold develop its own strategy and also borrow from it's Clash of Clans playbook. If the studio plans to release its new World of Warcraft experience this year, gamers won't have to wait any more to learn about the game's features.
